Our opportunities fall into three main categories, reflecting our mission to blend global reach with specialized expertise:
Headquarters & Support Roles: Positions in finance, human resources, communications, fundraising, and information technology. These are typically based at our main operational hub.
Program Management & Specialist Roles: Experts in specific fields like water sanitation, renewable energy, education technology, and monitoring & evaluation. These roles may be based at HQ or require extensive international travel to project sites.
Field & Project Staff: Positions based directly in the countries where our initiatives are active (e.g., Project Hope Catalyst). These roles often require local knowledge, language proficiency, and experience working in challenging environments.
Does Point of Difference offer internships or volunteer opportunities?
Yes. We offer internships and visiting professional opportunities throughout the year in various departments. These opportunities are posted on the same Careers Portal as staff vacancies. We also work with specific partners to staff our on-the-ground volunteer roles for major projects.

How do I apply for a position?
All applications must be submitted directly through the Point of Difference Careers Portal. You will be asked to create a profile and upload your CV/resume, a tailored cover letter, and any specific documents requested in the vacancy announcement. We do not accept applications via email or social media.

Yes, you may apply for multiple positions, but we strongly encourage you to apply only for roles where you meet the essential requirements. How long does the selection process take?
The duration varies depending on the complexity of the role and the volume of applications. On average, the process from the job closing date to the final decision can take 6 to 12 weeks. You will receive an email confirmation once your application is successfully submitted.
What is the typical interview process?
Most candidates invited past the initial screening will participate in a structured interview process, which may include:
